Horicon Marsh - evening count of SACR returning to roost. 3:50p-6:15p
Observers from FWS, WIDNR, and volunteers covered 10 sites around the marsh at the same time on 10/24/2024. Several observers noted an unusual number of SACRs flying out between 4p and 5:30p. Of note - 9255 SACRs were counted the day before(10/23/24) during the weekly waterbird survey - which includes an airboat flush count of the middle of the marsh. |
